I offer comprehensive personal training in your home. Whether you are new to exercising, or have reached a plateau and need some fresh ideas to boost your regimen to the next level, I can help. I have been an ACE certified personal trainer in the Ann Arbor area for over 12 years and have helped myriad clients lose weight, keep it off and feel healthier - and I would like to believe happier as well. I encourage you to check my references (happily provided upon request).

Unlike some of my competitors, who train clients at impersonal "studios" or clubs, surrounded by other trainers and clients, I offer my services in your home. Why drive to and from a distant locale when you can simply stay put in the privacy of your own home? Very little equipment is required and I am happy to bring along my own equipment as needed. I offer true personal, private training.


My philosophy is "every body's different" and that one size does not fit all. I will create an exercise program specifically for you. If you hate running, no problem, we'll find an alternative to keep you in good cardiovascular shape. Do squats hurt your knees? We can use modifications or different exercises that go easy on the joints. No fad diets, just sound nutrition advice that will take into account your food preferences and lifestyle.


Over the years I have trained male and female clients, and all ages from teens to seniors. However, I am particularly attuned to the needs of the aging baby boomer, because I am one myself. Our generation does not want to age as our parents did, and we will do whatever it takes to stay "young." Combining a healthy diet with exercise is the closest thing to a fountain of youth that you will ever find.

Could you exercise and eat right without a trainer? Sure. However, if you hire a trainer, you benefit in many ways. A good trainer will motivate you, encourage you and help you set realistic goals. A qualified trainer will measure your progress and will be able to adjust your program as needed. Most importantly, perhaps, a trainer should make exercise "fun." Exercise does not need to be drudgery. Exercise can become an enjoyable life long pursuit. This is my personal goal as a trainer. I want to see you 10 years from now and have you tell me how I changed your life. Sounds heady I know, but this happens to me fairly often. It's every teacher's dream. To make a difference.

$60 per hour (based on a package of 10)
